RUMOR - OS for Nintendo's NX might be Android based

According to an insider who talked with Nikkei, the OS for the NX could be Android based. When third-parties dropped the Wii U, it caused a turning point inside of the company. Nintendo seems to be ready to embrace a more open platform, which creates flexibility and ensures that the same content can also be played on smartphones and tables. Is this all true and is Nintendo moving away making all the hardware concepts themselves? Only time will tell.
