GN Version 5.0

This is part of a Vooks review for Yoshi's Woolly World...

Yoshi’s Woolly World is the follow-up to Yoshi’s Island that fans have been clamouring for, for years. It’s simple and doesn’t incessantly overcomplicate things like Yoshi’s Island DS does. It isn’t afraid to do its own thing  rather than imitate its predecessors like Yoshi’s New Island did. It’s its own product – merging the DNA of Yoshi’s Island with a brand new look and feel that makes it truly unique. The platforming is fun. The collectibles are a joy to hunt down and the aesthetic is quite simply adorable.

There are definitely some hiccups here and there – namely that the game reuses a few boss battles here and there and that its soundtrack can be pretty annoying at times. But it’s hard to fault. It’s a fantastic game and one of Nintendo (and Good-Feel’s) best.
