Nintendo Q2 FY 2015 Earnings Release - hw/sw sales, 1st/3rd party release dates & more

- net income of 3.2 billion yen ($27 million) in the three months ended September
- operating profit for the quarter was 7.8 billion yen
- Nintendo maintained its full year forecasts for operating profit of 50 billion yen on sales of 570 billion yen
- expects to sell 3.4 million Wii U consoles after selling 1.2 million in the first half
- 3DS sales are forecast to drop 13 percent to 7.6 million units in the year to March 2016

- ordinary income was 16.4 billion yen and profit attributable to owners of parent was 11.4 billion yen
- total shipments for amiibo have reached 21 million, including 10.6 million for the current fiscal year
