GN Version 5.0

All this information comes from Perfectly Nintendo...

Languages for the various versions
North America: English, French, Spanish
Europe: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German
South Korea: Korean
Taiwan / Hong-Kong: Japanese

- according to Koji Ishitani (Monolith Soft), this represents an increase of 350% of the workload for localisation
- he explains that Project X Zone 2: Brave New World has roughly double the amount of text compared to the first game. So it is actually 700%!
- goes on to explain the differences between the Japanese and the overseas versions
- he reveals that the development team had to change the size of the text window, because with most European languages, the translated text ends up longer than in Japanese
therefore, they had to make sure it all displayed correctly
- they also added a small window for subtitles
- just like the original, Project X Zone 2: Brave New World will only have Japanese audio, so the developers added subtitles
- that way, players will be to understand what the characters are saying. If you don’t like that feature, no need to worry: you will be able to toggle it on or off
- subtitles are in the following: dialogues during and after a battle, the cut-ins during a fight and in the shop
- Project X Zone 2: Brave New World will be ''basically'' the same in the Japanese version and the overseas versions
- original was modified in some ways
