Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages announced for 3DS

In the latest issue of Famitsu, it was announced that Marvelous would be developing a new Story of Seasons game for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is supposed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series, and the game shall be known as Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages. Three villages have been announced for the game, and they are Lulucoco Town, Tsuyukusa Village, and Wes Town. Each village will features different cultures and game mechanics. Players will also be able to customize their characters just like they could in previous games.

There will also be a new Farm Circle system that allows players to manually place certain buildings within certain farms. At the moment, Marvelous says that the game will release in Japan in the summer, though a specific release date is currently unknown.
