Japan - some retailers facing Wii U shortages
- Amazon.co.jp doesn’t have any units left in stock (third parties are selling)
- Yodabashi doesn’t have units left in stock online and in store (back orders are still available)
- Tsutaya is sold out online
It seems that Nintendo underestimated the strong sales the Wii U experienced during the holiday season. This stock issue should be corrected soon, but no specific date for a restock was given.
