GoNintendo 'End of Day' thought - Detective Pikachu, I presume?

GN Version 5.0

This thought goes out to a friend who recently got some bad news about her father. This friend just got over her battle with cancer and now her father just got diagnosed. Life can be truly cruel sometimes, but I know friends and family are there to keep her strong. I'm sure her Dad will kick cancer's butt just like she did! See you in a few, short hours.

Sometimes you see a game idea that is so out of left field that you have no idea how the developers came up with it. That's the case with Detective Pikachu. It looks like Nintendo and Pokemon Company are really trying to expand what the Pokemon universe can bring to its fans. I really don't think any of us were ready for that reveal trailer today!

We don't really have all the answers yet on just what Detective Pikachu will be. To tell you the truth, we really don't have any details at all! We should hear a lot more in some upcoming magazines coming from Japan. I can only imagine that there's going to be some aspects of the game that are similar to the Ace Attorney series, but overall I expect this title to be quite unique. Hell, look at how unique it is for the Pokemon franchise alone!

I don't even know what the craziest part is about Detective Pikachu. Could it be the idea that Pikachu is now a detective? How about the extremely detailed facial animations that Pikachu has? Maybe it's the fact that this Pikachu speaks like a normal guy with a deep voice?! There's just so much weirdness going on that I can't even wrap my head around it. All I know is that I am really digging it so far!

Just based on what you know as of now, are you down with this Detective Pikachu game? Is this an idea that you're happy to see Nintendo/Pokemon Company taking on? Is this just too far outside of the realm of the Pokemon franchise that you can't get into it? Leave a comment and let us know!
