NoA customer service rep says removal of Fire Emblem Fates' petting mini-game hasn't been announced

The following supposedly comes from a Nintendo of America customer service rep...

To tell you the truth, I never know what to think of the info that Nintendo customer service gives out. A Nintendo rep at a press event said the petting mini-game in Fire Emblem Fates was removed in the localized version. Now this rep is 'not announced'. Personally, I'm sticking with the original info of the mini-game being removed, but I guess we'll find out the truth soon enough! Thanks to FangztheWolf for the heads up.
