GN Version 5.0

A portion of a Polygon interview with Eiji Aonuma...

"For this game, if 100 players play this game, there will be 100 options and 100 game experiences. wanted to create an environment where if the user played it today and then played it again tomorrow, they would have a different experience. Like you've seen in Tri Force Heroes, I create a lot of different types of Zelda games. I definitely do think about creating another title just like Breath of the Wild. But I also enjoy creating different type of Zelda games."

I think Breath of the Wild could end up being the Zelda game that gives us the blueprints for other Zelda games for years to come. That said, I'm sure there will be some handheld titles throughout the years that shake the franchise up in different ways.
