Switch's Joy-Con grip doesn't charge controllers
If you feel like sliding your Joy-Cons into the grip controller, there's one thing you should know. The grip won't charge your Joy-Cons. You'll have to charge them up the regular way before sliding them into the grip. Just remember to pop them off when you're done playing and slide them into the Switch screen.
