Dear Reader:
Capcom's latest tweet makes the Monster Hunter XX Switch localization drama even more confusing
Here's the series of events so far. Monster Hunter XX Switch gets announced for Japan. Fans think it's a lock for localization. Capcom puts out wishy-washy statement about the matter. Fans get a bit bummed. GameSpot later comes forward with this statement.
Capcom confirmed to GameSpot that it has no plans to localize the recently announced Nintendo Switch version of Monster Hunter XX.
That's the moment fans got extremely upset, and rightfully so. Now, to make things another layer of confusing, Capcom shares this tweet in response to GameSpot.
Just to clarify: our official response is we have not announced any plans to localize MHXX at this time. https://t.co/mI31mcrrvE

What the hell is that supposed to mean? Now we're back to square one? Did GameSpot misconstrue the statement we originally heard on the matter? Does this relate to both the 3DS and Switch versions? I honestly don't know what to think anymore. Thanks to fangzthewolf for the heads up!
