A portion of a GamePro review...
PROS: This game's scope is big and impressive, especially considering it's on the DS; Draw-distance and frame-rate hold up well; Gameplay variety is sprinkled in here and there
CONS: Game has been approved by the most conservative of moms; Your car's four wheels won't want to leave the ground; too much emphasis is put on menu navigation
Story Feedback
Main complaints seem to be that you can't kill anyone. lol
I think I can easily let that go for a DS game that's 3D and free roaming.

hey rawmeat !! how about a news item on the failure of gta old school on psp!! wasn't the ds one proof that "mature" games could not sell on ds ?
if it's a success I hope this can become Nintendo's sand box game. Imagine bringing this IP over to the Wii. That would be awesome.
That first con is retarded and not a con. GTA this game is not. You play as a POLICE OFFICER, whose job is to PROTECT PEOPLE.

It's not GTA, so it's not like it was expected to have lots of cussing, bloody gun fights, and other common things you'd expect from GTA.
