They're encouraging you to buy it... then sell it back for only $30 worth of credit... huh...

Either buy it or don't buy it is what I say.

GameStop sucks. The only thing they are good for is selling used games at cheap prices, and Game Informer magazine.

I say just wait until black friday for game purchases. Last year, I got Halo 3, super mario galaxy, and sonic unleashed for about $20 each...:P

Frankly, I'm surprised you didn't rip into this deal and encourage gamers to keep the game or purchase/trade it elsewhere. The consumer is the one being taken advantage of.

Hey, here's an infinitely better idea: go to Hollywood Video, Blockbuster or GameFly, rent it for $7, beat the game, and return it!

Or, do what I'm doing and buy the game and keep it because it's going to be a really great game.

Yet another "deal" from Gamestop. This is why I only make purchases that I intend to keep, and why I'll be keeping NSMB Wii in my game library (which you all know is worth it).

i would be appreciative if you'd stop advertising for this company. i'm, personally, not interested in any "deals" from the con artists named above. thanks

Wow, trade-in credit. So valuable. I would like to work for Gamestop/EB just so I could take every measure possible to make them lose money from the inside (legally, of course). Encourage buying new over used (which I do anyways), stop people from trading in games, getting them to sell it on ebay instead, or even buying it from them for cash outside of work hours. Inform people of cheaper deals on games elsewhere. And getting paid by the hour to stand around inside EB all day and tell people not to shop there would be the best part!

@Q_Mulative

Except that your job security is based on your pre-orders/used games sales. They'd weed you out :(.

What the hell? Who-ever falls for this is an idiot.

Or maybe this is a scheme to get more sales for Nintendo, narf
