The official Japanese site for New Super Mario Bros. Wii has opened up, and it has a bunch of short videos. I've collected all the videos (minus the intro, which we've seen) and combined them into one clip. Make sure to watch, as you get your first look at the Toad House mini-game!

Only looked at a little of it.

I am NOT going to spoil myself like I did with Galaxy before its release! I want (for the most part) to be happily surprised by the levels in the game. Although I do know of the new suits and stuff. :P

wow, you can get a LOT of power ups in that toad house!

I'm kinda wondering now how rare the Penguin suit is going to be. By the looks of things, it might be the equivalent of the Tanooki Suit (which would make sense, seeing as they have the ice-flower, which would be the racoon-suit equivalent)

I like the propeller suit for the flying power up in this game.... the free-flying power ups from previous games wouldn't work in a multiplayer setting for obvious reasosn

I see they took a lot from mario galaxy such as spin jump, spinning in a screw to activate or raise something. Toad coming out of a treasure chest. I love it. I think the final boss is a parody of SMW thats why Bowser Jr. has a clown car.

SMNJ...Wii titles usually go Rxxr where r is region and xx are two letters/numbers.

I guess with so many games out they have run out so R-series dies (wonder what the last title was to have it...Sin & Punishment 2 is the last first party published title).

Only watched enough of it to hear the spin jump sound effect. OMG this game is like a "the best of 2D Mario" in so many ways, I swear that while this may be a brand new game I'm going to have a total nostalgia trip.

It looks great.I can't wait to have this game and play it on my Wii.It will be my Christmas Gift like Wario Land Shake it and Sonic Unleashed were last Christmas.

This year for me it will be Spirit Tracks and NSMB Wii Games wise.the DSI will be my next Handheld.In need of a DS Upgrade is why.Not for GBA reasons but for DS reasons.I will be keeping my DS Phat as my GBA and it will save not only time but battry power too.

But yeah like i said this JP site looks better then USA's NSMB Wii site so far.

@Chosenoneknuckles

I'm pretty sure you can spin-jump at any time, so you probably don't need the propeller suit.... although, that suit is, by the looks of things, becoming my favorite suit since the suits of SMB3!

@stealthpengu

Maybe. But it'd harken back to the days of DKC [for me] if there were suit-specific levels [animal partner levels in DKC's case].

A whole penguin-suit level would be bless. :-P

Off topic:
I just played Super Mario 64 DS using an emulator (don't tell RMC!), and it's not as bad as I thought.

Using a keyboard to move around in a 3D environment is hard, plus the game was slow, but I got the hang of it.

So if I can play it on a keyboard, I'm sure the D-Pad controls are much better.

So what to get... Nintendo DS or Wii? Hmmmm...

On topic:
Each time I see NSMB Wii it looks like a winner. Game of the holiday, right here.
