What you saw above was an actual work-in-progress fan-made game. It's set to come out in Janauary, and should be playable via NES emulator. I'm pretty sure Valve is going to embrace this tribute rather than squash it, so you should be able to play come January! Thanks to Q. Mulative and Akel for the heads up!

Neat that someone did it, but I'm pretty sure that you could just walk through that whole game without ever shooting a single "attacking" zombie.
I think its quite awesome!!
Specially for a side project
If this game had been released on the nes gen, it would had been prety awesome!!!
just like that guitar hero for commodore 64. to had been out the videogame would had never happened i think.
