HAL Laboratory website shows either ideas never used in Kirby: Canvas Curse...or ideas for a sequel?

We have no way of knowing what HAL Laboratory is up to. All we can do is look at their website and virtually thumb through what they've posted. That's exactly what reader Shiine did, and he found some interesting stuff.
If you visit their official Japanese site and click on the 'idea cube', you are presented with a bunch of art that looks like it's related to Canvas Curse. The thing is, a lot of the stuff we see was never used in the game. Were these ideas that had to be yanked from the original, or a collection of works that may appear in a sequel?

i could see canvas curse coming to Wii. would work kinda like Lost Winds only faster paced. Would be cool!

Where has Kirby been lately?? I'd love to see that Kirby Wii game come to existence. A new Canvas Curse wouldn't be too bad though.
DS sequel please! I loved Kirby games in general, but Canvas Curse was insane!
A sequel would kick ass. The only problem with Canvas Curse was that there wasn't nearly enough of it!

A Canvas Curse Sequel with more REAL Bosses would be an instant purchase for me. Actually...who am I kidding, ANY Kirby game would be an instant purchase for me, BUT STILL...
Man, I hope we see a sequel. It's been too long since we've seen an original Kirby game (last one was a remake) and there hasn't been a Wii one yet at all despite a Kirby title repeatedly appearing then disappearing off of Nintendo's upcoming Wii game list in Japan for some time now.
I would do ANYTHING for a sequel....the original is still one of my favorites, I beat the whole game with every character and collected every black coin =p
I think it's ridiculous that there hasn't been a sequel already. Kirby's Canvas Curse was the very first game to justify the DS' existence.

Neat! This is the kind of cool stuff that really inspires you to be a game developer. 
One of my favorite games to play on the DS, so please oh please be a sequel.
I would do nasty things that I would regret later in life that would also require therapy for a DS sequel to that awesome game
Hey HAL, stop making Pokemon Ranger games, and porting old Kirby games, and RELEASE A NEW ONE. How long has that Gamecube-turned-Wii Kirby project been in development? I bet the game itself has completely changed multiple times throughout the course of development by now. Either that or it's vaporware that was never being seriously worked on.
