I think it's really impolite for Layton to sit on the front row of a theatre and then keep his enormously large hat on... just saying...

Didnt you notice in the trailer it said "Reighton-kooju: Ay-yay no Ti-mae" which means "Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva". I dont know why RMC keeps calling it the First Movie.
