Will the November 2011 release crush hurt gaming?

We hear this kind of talk every single year. We all know that the holiday season for gaming is absolutely chock-full of fantastic content. There's so much out there that it's hard to keep up with it all, and some great games are inevitably ignored. No matter how much we complain about it, the industry keeps pushing all this content in a very small timeframe. I guess the bigwigs don't think there's an issue.
