Ni no Kuni DS not seeing localization due to too many hurdles
If you had any hopes that Ni no Kuni's DS version was going to get localized, you might as well put those hopes to rest right now. Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has said that there are simply too many hurdles in the way of localization, even though it was once considered.
These issues stem from the massive book that was included with the game in Japan. The book would have to be published and translated, which was such a big undertaking that it simply wasn't feasible.
