St Ives, Cambridgeshire - February 2016 – Avanquest Software, one of the UK’s leading games publishers announces the retail release of Goosebumps ®:The Game, a prequel to the major motion picture from Sony Pictures Entertainment, on the Nintendo 3DS™ handheld system.

In Goosebumps®: The Game, players experience R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps Universe where monsters have been released from their books and are looking to wreak havoc! Werewolves prowl the woods, gnomes roam underfoot and scarecrows walk at midnight and it’s the player’s job to investigate in this point-and-click adventure game and outsmart the monsters before it’s too late.

Players must use their wits to explore and investigate their surroundings, decipher clues and solve puzzles to complete the game. Their adventure will see them survive a trek through the neighbourhood, unravel the mystery of the Dead House and sneak through a shopping mall after hours. Only then can they confront Slappy the Dummy and stop his plans for revenge!

Goosebumps the movie is currently showing at cinemas throughout the UK.

To date, the Goosebumps book series, published and distributed by Scholastic, has more than 400 million copies in print in 32 languages across the world. All five seasons of the live-action television series based on the property, which aired originally in over 100 countries, are currently available on Netflix.
