Pokemon Sword and Shield Wild Area Event update and Global Challenge 2021 Winter Battle details

GN Version 5.0

There's not one, but two different things for Pokemon Sword and Shield players to make note of today. Check out details on both below.

Wild Area Event

- new Extra Event live
- Gigantamax Pikachu will appear
- if 1 million people defeat Pikachu during this event, everyone will receive 100 Armorite Ore & 100 Dynite Ore on March 4th

Global Challenge 2021 Winter Battle

- Single Battle competition that allows you to use 1 of the Restricted Legendaries on your team
- all players who enter get 50 BP
- battles run until Feb. 28th, 2021
