Saturday Night Live skit about Mario and Luigi has Lizzo cracking up
Definitely worthy of a laugh or two
Video games were a big topic of conversation on last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live. The Weekend Update segment had a few jokes about Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and a separate skit was all about Mario.
In the skit below, host Lizzo and the rest of the SNL crew were talking about good ways to invest your money. The joke pertains to a couple who puts their money into basically horrible ventures, and is losing everything they have. The skit starts off with Beanie Babies, and then it moves to making Mario fan-art.
When the skit gets to the Mario part, Lizzo can’t hold back from cracking up. You can see that portion of the skit at the 2:10 mark.
