AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative is coming to Switch in less than two months, which means it’s time for Spike Chunsoft to really start promoting the game. They’ve decided to kick off the game’s final push by opening a special website for AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative, and it’s certainly an interesting one.

The website in question is called Hidden Bats, and at first glance, it might seem like it has nothing to do with AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative. It’s definitely tied to the upcoming sequel, though, as this site features imagery that was included in the reveal trailer for the game.

The site currently has a 30 day countdown timer running, and no one knows what it’ll reveal once the timer hits zero. What we do know is that the site hides links to a Hidden Bats YouTube Channel, Twitter account, and a Sunaiku Foundation website. All of these hide more clues on the upcoming sequel, but fans need to dig a bit deeper to piece everything together.

We’ll keep an eye on all of these strange sites and channels to see what else pops up. Hopefully Spike Chunsoft will share a few more clues in the coming weeks.

It looks like the countdown right now is for about 30 hours, not days. The first tweet showed a 48 hour countdown.

I loved the first AI: Somnium Files, so I’m hyped for this game! It’ll be interesting to see what happens at the end of the countdown.
