The lack of Sonic 3 (and music) (AND KNUCKLES) is worrisome.

I'm guessing that they don't want to show Sonic 3 yet and stick with the ones people are familiar with.

I mean the fact that the Knuckles sprite is intact kinda proves that Sonic 3 will be there.

There needs to be physical version of this...with EVERYTHING included.

I think you have the right idea, but I imagine he's more worried about the music than the game suddenly being gone, because S3&K will obviously be a part of the collection. I imagine it just wasn't shown because it's the only game that hasn't been remastered by this team so far, and they didn't deem this Korean event to be important enough to be the first place to show it.

If its music, most likely they will either use the beta versions for it or they would get the license to use it.

That said, I really don't know how that would work since the credits will always show Brad Buxer regardless of whichever version they decide to emulate.

We already know the super ultra digital deluxe master edition comes with music DLC, so most are guessing the original tracks are paid extra due to whatever the licensing issue might be, but yeah, I'm really curious what will end up happening. Either way, I fully expect S3&K to be exactly how it was originally, albeit an updated, new engine version like the rest, but maybe not at the same price point unfortunately.
