Game-breaking bug discovered in Switch Online version of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
Come on, big orca!
Switch Online versions of N64 games have released with a few hiccups in the last few months. Some of them are minor visual issues, but others can cause quite a problem. Unfortunately, in the case of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, we have an issue that’ll force you to restart your game.
As seen in the video above, in the battle with Acro the Orca, getting hit by certain attacks can stun Kirby indefinitely. This makes it impossible for you to move, so you can’t finish the stage. The only thing to do from here is reset your game and start the stage over.
You can use save states to help you work your way through this boss fight, which is pretty much the only surefire way to get around things without issue right now. If you get hit, it’s going to be Game Over whether you like it or not!
