Just a couple of days ago, we featured a story on Yannick Belzil, narrative designer for TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. In an interview with Belzil, it seemed like alternate costumes were out of the question for the game, and DLC was extremely unlikely. Now a few days later, we have another answer that leaves the door open a slight crack.

Cyrille Imbert of Dotemu took to Twitter to comment on the DLC situation for TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. Specifically, Imbert said that there won’t be alternate costumes at launch, and the team doesn’t have any plans for DLC. That said, Imbert made a point to say “never say never,” and followed that with a winking/smiling emoji.

Lastly, Imbert said that DLC will depend on many factors, such as reception to the game and the ideas/feedback that the community speaks about. In other words, it sounds like there’s at least some potential for extra content down the road. All you have to do is buy the game!

It will probably happen! Reviews are stellar making me believe this is the best turtles game ever. They will have no choice but to revisit this game with DLC.

Punk frogs? Usagi? Mondo Gecko? The game isn’t even out yet but I’d be down for more playable characters or a different mode.

I hope it gets more content since a few reviews have mentioned that it's a pretty short experience (2-3 hours).
