Developed by Aquria and Bandai Namco, Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris was released back in July 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with Nintendo fans unfortunately left in the dust. Now that two years have gone by though, Australian retailer EB Games has brought hope that a Switch version could be on the horizon, by mysteriously opening pre-orders for the unannounced port. The release date is listed as a vague “TBC 2022,” with a temporary placeholder box-art used for the image.

Retailer listings have proven quite accurate in the past, and considering how out-of-the-blue this one is, it seems likely that an official announcement from Bandai Namco will pop up soon.

They said the game wouldn't run on Switch which was obviously bull. So here we are now. I'm glad I waited and didn't buy the PS4 version.
