Just last week, Square Enix revealed that NieR:Automata was coming to Switch as NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa Edition. While not a game that anyone thought would make for an impossible port, it’s still one that would require a considerable amount of work to make happen. That’s why Square Enix turned to some Switch experts to get the job done.

We now know that Virtuos is the team that was tasked with getting NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa Edition up-and-running on Switch. It’s an excellent choice, as Virtuos has proven time and time again that they know their way around Switch hardware.

For those unfamiliar, Virtuos has handled numerous Switch ports in the past. This is the team that got games like Dying Light, L.A. Noire, Dark Souls: Remastered and Bioshock: The Collection over to the Switch, so there’s no doubt they have the skills to handle NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa Edition.

And now put in the time and money to port the KINGDOM HEART games properly, okay? Pretty please?
