Nintendo has announced that pre-orders for the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition are being delayed in Europe due to “unforeseen logistical challenges.” This means that pre-orders won’t open up until after the launch of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and the contents of the Special Edition will be sold separately so that you’ll still be able to purchase and enjoy the JRPG threequel on July 29th. As for North America and Japan, pre-orders have already been taken, and as previously announced, the game and Special Edition contents will be shipped separately for those regions as well.

European pre-orders for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition, which includes a soft cover concept art book, steel case and outer box packaging, are now expected to open up sometime in Fall 2022.

North America seems to be the only ones without issues on this...so far.

It's an absolute mess. They need to do better, games aren't cheap and this Special Edition is at least €90, that's if you can even manage to find a pre-order anywhere.
