Nintendo fans got their first chance to check out Alien: Isolation with the Switch release back in 2019, and it ended up being a stellar port of a fantastic game. It’s certainly one of the best licensed games in recent memory, and it’s one that greatly respects the world and lore of the Alien franchise.

Plenty of people appreciate Alien: Isolation, but probably none more so than Andy Kelly. Andy was so taken by the game that he’s written Perfect Organism, something he’s calling “an unofficial guide to the greatest horror game ever made.” This book will go incredibly in-depth into the history of Alien videogames, as well as Alien: Isolation itself. This includes breaking the game down moment by moment, level by level.

If this sounds like the kind of book you’d like to own, you can help Andy make it happen. He’s currently running a crowdfunding campaign to get the book published, and he’s almost reached the goal. If you want to help push for the book’s success or just lock in a copy right now, you can do so through this link.
