Tetris 99 getting a "Second Chance Edition" Maximus Cup

Earn themes you missed in past Maximus Cups

The 30th Tetris 99 Maximus Cup has been revealed, and it’s a little different from what we usually get. Starting at 3 AM ET on August 5th, players will be able to earn an old theme from a previous Maximus Cup each day. The theme will change every 24 hours until 2:59 AM ET on August 11th, when the event will end.

Once players have accumulated 10 points in a day, they’ll be rewarded with that day’s theme. If you’re a fan of titles like Miitopia or Metroid Dread and you missed your chance to claim their Tetris themes, be sure to hop on the game during the appropriate time, shown on the image above.

Awesome. This game is magnificent. I already have all the themes because I never miss a competition weekend on this game. Still, it’s great to be able to clean up if you missed some previously.
