According to NPD, the Nintendo Switch was the best-selling system in the US during July 2022 in unit sales, but just like last month, PlayStation 5 edged it out in terms of dollars earned. Of the top 20 best-selling games in July, seven of them were published by Nintendo. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was the best-selling Nintendo Switch exclusive, and the fourth best-selling game overall, even though it released at the very tail-end of the month. Digimon Survive also released towards the end of the month and ranked eighth.

Here is the complete list for the top 20 sellers and the top 10 sellers on Nintendo platforms specifically, but keep in mind that digital sales are not included in the data for Switch nor Xbox releases:

Nintendo is so forking doomed, it's not even funny anymore. Forget going third party, it's time they moved back into Love Hotels.

I bet they'd make a killing with a Waluigi themed chain!

If digital Switch sales were included, the top 10 for the industry would look like the top 10 for Switch alone.

Jeez, didn't realize the Xenoblade Chronicles series has become THAT popular in the US. Awesome to see.

I am really feeling this. Xenoblade 3 in the top ten. It deserves the sales from what I have played so far.

And to think we nearly didn’t get a western release of the first game. Glad Nintendo eventually realized that people like to get cool games too.
