The time for Yu-Gi-Oh!’s mug being front-and-center on households may be over, but that doesn’t mean the brand is dead. Far from it, actually! According to Konami, the love for the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise is just as strong as it ever was.
Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL, a free-to-play title with microtransactions, has been a real juggernaut for Konami, amassing 20 million downloads worldwide. Even though the game is free, that total is nothing to sneeze at! It’s clear people still enjoy card battling the Yu-Gi-Oh! way, and this title shows no signs of slowing down.
To celebrate this download milestone, players can get 1,000 gems by logging into the game by April 25th, 2022. Along with that, the story “The Fairies Who Paint the Weather” has been added to Solo Mode.
My only question is…is Blue Eyes White Dragon as powerful as I remember it being?!
