If you never experienced the original Banjo-Kazooie, you can do so right now through the Switch Online Expansion Pack. If you were already a fan from back in the day, there’s no doubt you enjoy seeing the classic live on through a re-release. Still, wouldn’t it be nice to see the game completely reworked for modern-day hardware? It doesn’t seem Microsoft or RARE are too interested, but that’s why we have fan projects!

Project Dream is known for revisiting iconic games from history to give them visual makeovers, and that’s just what they’ve done for Banjo-Kazooie. While not a complete, functional remake, Banjo-Kazooie: The Complete Remaster gives us a fantastic idea of what a modern-day approach to Banjo-Kazooie could look like. If anything, it certainly brings the memories flooding back, doesn’t it?

Really nice. I would have just gone with some brighter colors for the grass and trees though.

Looks really bland. Honestly looks like a year 1 games design project where they’ve downloaded 10 free asset packs and mashed something random together.

Stop putting photorealistic bloom and grass where they don't belong!

I know, I know, semantics. But could someone explain where the line is drawn between something being a "remaster" vs a "remake"? Because this trailer is titled a remaster but I see "remasters" of GameCube/PS2-era games in the Switch eShop and the games look exactly the same, just in HD now. This footage however, everything looks completely remade from scratch to the point where in some scenes it almost just barely resembles the original.

Increase the colour intensity and it’d look better.
