Earlier this year, it was announced that ReedPop, the producer behind many major pop culture events such as PAX and New York Comic Con, will be working alongside ESA to bring E3 back for an in-person and digital experience in 2023. Now, we have more concrete details on the anticipated return, including when it will take place.

E3 2023 will run from June 13th through June 16th. More details on what will be happening for each day can be found below. A schedule for specific events has yet to be shared, so stay tuned for more info.

E3 Business Days will take place Tuesday, June 13 to Thursday, June 15, reserved exclusively for registered industry personnel to network in-person, hold professional meetings, and connect with licensors and distributors. Amidst dedicated, industry-only halls and spaces, media can go hands-on with upcoming games showcased by developers and publishers from around the world.

E3 Gamer Days will take place Thursday, June 15 and Friday, June 16 in a different hall than the industry area, inviting consumers to go hands-on with the future of gaming and connect with developers, content creators, media personalities, and more. A dedicated theater of content, open to ticket holders, will run during these days and offer deep-dive looks at highly anticipated titles.

E3 will support and uplift partnered digital events taking place starting June 11 and running throughout the show.

“E3 is one of the global gaming industry’s few opportunities to come together, unite as one loud voice, and show the world what it is creating,” said ReedPop VP of Gaming Kyle Marsden-Kish. “Our vision is to reunite the industry by re-establishing the traditional E3 week, bring back that spark, and restore E3’s role as a truly magical global showcase event for game creators and consumers.”

What exactly brings you to that conclusion?

If I have learned one thing about Nintendo, it is the fact that they will always do what the heck they want.

The great thing about this news is that Nintendo should go back to their traditional June Direct slot next year.🤞Instead of the extra 3 months we had to wait this year.

Since Tears of the Kingdom will be out by then, I wonder what the focus for Nintendo might be. New Super Mario game I hope.

A little thing called HISTORY. Nintendo have always had presentations in June, the exception being the last few years where Covid played havoc. As well as that, I'm sure the E3 organisers would have spoken to the major contributors before making today's announcement. I'd lay money on Nintendo being part of E3 next year, barring another disaster.

While I hope you are right, I really would not bet money on that. For the reason stated above.
"Nintendo always did X and Y" was the main reason for disappointed fans in recent years, not just regarding Nintendo Directs. So, be prepared for disappointments.

Pretty sure one can easily confirm that Nintendo are still paying members of the ESA despite no convention this year. An E3 happening means Nintendo being there. Nintendo being there means a June direct. This year we just got our June direct spread out over 2 months

Metroid Prime 4 I think it could be their next big game.
