Focus Entertainment has just released their latest financial report, which details the slate of games they launched in the last quarter, along with insight on how they performed. Of particular interest to us is the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.

Dotemu was the developer on TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, and they’re a subsidiary of Focus Entertainment. In their report, Focus said that Dotemu saw ‘good performance’ with TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. This helped Dotemu reach $22 million in global revenue overall. Just to be clear, this does not speak to the total revenue generated by the launch of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. That specific figure has not been shared.

Back in July, we learned that TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge had sold over 1 million copies in a single week. We haven’t had a sales update since, but it seems very likely that the game has easily doubled that figure.

Heroes in a half shell, turtle power! More TMNT games can never be a bad thing.

I imagine that number will go even higher when they finally stop pushing back the date and release the physical version.

@hawk

What do you mean? I own the physical. It was released one or two weeks after the digital launch I think?
The Limited Run version however needs a bit more time in the oven I guess.

You have the physical version? Weird! I've been watching Amazon for it, since it doesn't look like it's coming to any of my local stores, and the release date started in late July and has been pushed back four times. Right now it's at late October.

I hadn't even considered the Limited Run version.

EDIT: And just as I typed that, it is appearing in stock at Amazon, so I've ordered it. Looking forward to it!
