Super Mario Bros. movie 3D billboard spotted in NYC
Quite the marketing push
The Super Mario Bros. movie from Nintendo and Illumination doesn’t come out until April 7th, 2023, but promotional efforts for the film have already started. We’ve seen commercials crop up online and some other marketing materials, but without a doubt, the biggest advertisement for the film has been spotted in NYC.
As you can see in the video above, there’s a special 3D billboard ad for the Super Mario Bros. movie on display in New York City. The ad shows the Mushroom Kingdom in the background while Mario fights with a Piranha Plant in a pipe in the foreground.
The 3D effect of this billboard doesn’t really come across in a video, but you can at least get the idea. If you want to see this billboard in all of its glory, you’ll have to make a trip into NYC!
