UK software charts for the week ending Jan. 7th, 2023

2022 is behind us, and it’s time to track game sales in a new year. The first week of sales for the UK has come in, and we have the top 40 breakdown. See what 40 games started off the new year with a bit of success in the UK below.

As expected, it’s a pretty quiet week in terms of game sales. January is usually quite a slow month for game releases, as we’re coming off the big game launches of the holiday season. This led to sales dropping quite considerably, as games were down 47% week-on-week, and that’s coming off a 52% drop the week before.
