Wondering how the Switch held up in Japan this week? Switch titles impressively made up 9 of the top 10 best-selling software list. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet continues on with its extraordinarily exceptional sales for the seventh week in a row, placing in first on the charts yet again by selling over 291k more copies. Splatoon 3 holds strong as well, following right behind with over 107k more units sold. No new titles that debuted this week made the charts.

As for hardware, the Switch maintained its top spot with the OLED model, selling 142,789 more units. This is followed by Sony’s PlayStation 5 in second, with the standard Switch in third (58,941), with the Switch Lite in fourth (48,988).

Switch hardware sales are very impressive. The software sales look good too. Usually the numbers are far lower, especially once you get past 1,2 and 3.
