Ampere Analysis has put together a study with UK gamers to see what console they play the most. You can see the breakdown of their findings in the chart below.

According to the results, PlayStation 5 (disc version) owners in the UK are significantly more likely to treat it as their primary console compared to all other console owners. As you can see roughly 50% of Switch respondents in the UK consider the Switch to be their primary platform.

These kind of studies are important, as they show where hardware allegiance is, and this most likely indicates where they’ll spend the bulk of their money. Of course, the argument could be made that the average Switch owner doesn’t really exist, as the age range is much wider than that of Sony/Microsoft fans. Still though, it’s great to see Switch hovering around the 50% mark nearly 6 years after launch.

Thanks to Sligeach_eire for the heads up!

Has been my primary gaming device since it launched. Only dip to my Xbox Series X when something isn’t on Switch or a Switch game is on Gamepass, like Tunic for example.
