Streaming guidelines for Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden

We’ve heard of companies presenting specific streaming guidelines for their games before, especially for story heavy games. This is now the case for Atlus’ Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden. Luckily for content creators, Atlus is not super strict about what they ask for. Here are the do’s and don’ts.

If you are streaming or making videos, you are only allowed to do so for personal use, meaning that you won’t be able to charge to access said stream or video. You can monetize it but you’d have to use partnership programs like the ones YouTube or Twitch offer.

If you are sharing parts that contain spoilers, you have to provide some kind of warning before doing so. You can do so in the title for example.

You are not allowed to upload videos that focus on the game’s music, so those “Persona 3 Portable OST music to study to” playlist will not be happening sadly. Speaking of things you are not allowed to do, you can’t make content showing off mods or cheats either, nor make offensive content towards individuals. Seems fair!

Finally, you should use the copyright for “©Atlus ©Sega” in your content and, when failing to meet any of these criteria, if Atlus requests for you to take down your content, you have to do so immediately.

All in all, these do seem quite lenient, so let’s hope content creators can share the game without too many problems. Stick to the rules!
