You might remember that back in July of last year, Nippon Ichi Software released a demo for GrimGrimoire OnceMore in Japan. You can actually still snag that demo right now if you want by jumping on the Japanese eShop. For those hoping a localized version of the demo would be coming, your patience will be paying off soon.

While NIS America hasn’t shared an exact date just yet, they have confirmed that a demo for GrimGrimoire OnceMore will see release on the Switch eShop in North America and Europe. This demo will likely be the exact same one that hit Japan, but localized into various languages. The Japanese demo also let you transfer save data over to the full game, which is hopefully retained for the localized version.

GrimGrimoire is a magic fantasy real-time strategy game in which a young wizard girl named Lillet struggles to uncover the truth in order to avoid reliving the same five days and impending disaster. Developed by Vanillaware and published by Nippon Ichi Software, it was first released in 2007. This remaster features high-resolution graphics and new systems that make the game more enjoyable, including “Great Magic” that can turn the tides in battle and a “Skill Tree” to strengthen your familiars.
