Just a few days back, Nintendo had revealed that Booster Course Pass: Wave 4 for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was set to launch on March 9th, 2023. Now we’re seeing some information pointing to a release slightly earlier than that.

Nintendo has shared a Japanese blog post on the upcoming DLC wave, and it states the content will drop at 10 AM on March 9th, 2023. If Nintendo releases the DLC at the exact same time worldwide, that would mean we can expect the update at 8 PM ET on March 8th, 2023. I guess we’ll all find out in just a matter of days!

For those who need a refresher, here’s the track list for Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass.

FRUIT CUP

  • Amsterdam Drift (Tour)
  • Riverside Park (GBA)
  • DK Summit (Wii)
  • Yoshi’s Island (NEW)

BOOMERANG CUP

  • Bangkok Rush (Tour)
  • Mario Circuit (DS)
  • Waluigi Stadium (GCN)
  • Singapore Speedway (Tour)

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Booster Course Pass is automatically available to all Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers, but it can also be purchased separately for $24.99 USD. It will include 6 waves of 8 courses released by the end of 2023.

I expected that. Isn't it always the case? I recall whenever they'd upload a video about an update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the update would always go live in North America the evening before whatever date was in the video presumably because the date in the videos would be for Japan.
