TT Games has made a name for themselves as the studio that tackles big-name properties with LEGO makeovers. It’s a format that has found them success multiple times over, but it’s led to long hours, burnout and tons of crunch. Unfortunately, it seems that trend may have gotten worse over time, as rumor has it multiple projects have now been called off.

While not confirmed by TT Games or Warner Bros. reports have come in about a handful of games being scrapped, including ones that have been in the works for a considerable amount of time. Projects being called off include…

  • LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy
  • non-LEGO shooter featuring Warner Bros. IP (including DC, Rick & Morty, and Looney Tunes, along with Netflix’s Stranger Things)
  • mobile port of LEGO Worlds
  • narrative-based Mandalorian DLC in development for LEGO Skywalker Saga

Both Warner Bros. and TT Games have been reached for comment, but have not shared statements yet. If they do comment on these rumors, we’ll make sure to add their statements to this post.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was such a refreshing experience compared to their previous works. I hope they find their footing and can continue to develop quality games without putting their teams through hell. Whatever the next project is, I hope the teams take all the time they need.
