More characters heading to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Looks like Nintendo isn’t done with the roster for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!
Following the game’s update to Version 2.3.0, the character select screen has received a revamp. As you can see above, there are 5 question marks on the screen, which certainly indicates that some more familiar faces will be making their way to the game before the Booster Course Pass is complete.
What we’re not sure of is if there will be 4 or 5 more characters, as that final option could always be a randomizer. Regardless, this screen makes it clear as day that a few more racers are going to be joining the fun.

1y agoThat is exciting ^-^ I'm still on the original MK8 which is great but Deluxe keeps getting more extra's which is interesting. My guess is.. something Pikmin related for the new characters.

It’ll probably be among those—which, to be fair, has plenty of great picks. You’ll get your due someday, Kamek.

1y agoSteady on with the predictions. The trailer said it’d be returning characters. So characters that have already been in previous Mario Kart games. So characters like Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, ROB, Wiggler, etc.
