Back in November of last year, Nintendo announced a joint venture with mobile developer DeNA. According to Nintendo, the goal of this collab is to “strengthen the digitalization of Nintendo’s business, which will include research and development, along with the creation of value-added services to further reinforce Nintendo’s relationship with consumers.”

At the time of this announcement, Nintendo also revealed that the joint venture would officially be open for business as of April 3rd, 2023. A quick look at the calendar shows us that April 3rd is today, and with that Nintendo has opened a new online home for their DeNA collaboration.

The newly-revealed Nintendo Systems website doesn’t offer much in the way of new information on what specifically the duo is working on, but those details are sure to come in the near future. Until then, you can snoop through the website through the link above

Mobile games are something I will never wrap my head around. They are too grindy and full of micro transactions. If I even hear the phrase 'free to play' it's an immediate turn off.

@conangiga

I don't really see how that's relevant here when this venture has nothing to do with mobile games, it just happens to be with DeNA.

Hopefully this will help their own online infrastructure with the Switch successor.

You serious? DeNa is a mobile developer. Who developed mobile games for Nintendo. Relevant enough?
