Not surprisingly, the days are numbered for the leaker(s) of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom art book.

As you no doubt remember, a few weeks back we saw the entire Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom art book get leaked online. Every single page, which included all sorts of inside information and new details on Link’s next adventure, hit the worldwide web, and some fans were quick to dive in. Not surprisingly, Nintendo was extremely distraught to see this happen, and now they’re out to track down the parties involved.

Nintendo has not only gone after a Discord server that seems to be where the leak first popped up, but they’re also looking to get the name of a specific person tied to the server. This led to Nintendo filing a DMCA subpoena at a district court in California on April 4th, 2023. In other words, Nintendo is exploring every legal avenue to squash this Discord server and find the leakers behind it all.

We’ll keep track of this situation and let you know if Nintendo manages to sniff out the leaker.

I’m going to give advice to the leaker by quoting Aonuma’s words from the recent presentation:
“If you find yourself in a cage, you know what to do.” 😉

They better hope the cage has a ceiling.
