Twitter user SheSimonOnMyRex has discovered an upcoming promotion for Target stores to celebrate the release of Kirby and the Forgotten Land! First off, the red balls outside of the Target (apparently called “bollards”) will be transformed to look like the pink-puffball himself. Two expressions are shown, with a happy Kirby and a snacking Kirby.

The second promotion involves Target’s grocery bags, which will feature Kirby on them. While not as exciting as the bollard transformation, it will be nice to see when in the checkout line. Check out the tweet thread below to see what they should look like in action! (The tweet does contain some foul language, so be wary of that)

According to the tweet, these should show up on March 25th if you want to see them for yourself. This is the same day as Kirby and the Forgotten Land is set to launch, so if you pick up your copy at target you are sure to see them!

UPDATE: Twitter user @_danpar has posted pictures of the Kirby bollards in the wild, check out the tweet below to see them in action.

Thanks to Andreslop24 for the heads up!

Nintendo's got some big balls pulling off this "Targeted" advertising.

Nintendo missed an opportunity when Metroid Dread came out.

Does the author not trust that the name for bollards is actually bollards? Lol
