Hogwarts Legacy has been an incredible hit for Warner Bros., reaching 15+ million units sold and $1 billion in revenue. That success is set to continue with the PS4/XB1 versions that just launched hours ago, and the Switch version this Summer.

While there’s no doubt the PS4/XB1 versions of Hogwarts Legacy will sell millions, Warner Bros. also expects big things from the Switch release as well. That release comes July 25th, 2023, and Warner Discovery exec JB Perrette can’t wait to see how it does.

According to Perrette, Warner Discovery has significantly higher hopes for the Switch release (as reported by VGC.) This especially includes the Japanese release, where the Switch reigns supreme.

At this point, we have not seen a single piece of media from the Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy. Hopefully we get a look at that version soon, but with Warner Discovery having high hopes, hopefully it means Switch fans can look forward to a solid port.

I'm not going to lie I'm very sceptical as to how this is going to run. Is the ps4 version okay?

If they have such high hopes for the Switch version's sales...I don't know, maybe try not releasing that version dead last and prioritize it a bit more?
