No one would argue that any Legend of Zelda game is realistic, and that’s definitely the case. Still, have you ever wondered how close some of the franchise’s weapons and Link’s handling of them comes to the real deal? Well now you can have those questions answered in a new video from IGN.

12M agoThe biggest problem with the game is the fragility of the steel/metal weapons. That's highly unrealistic. A good blade, if maintained (And all soldiers maintained their gear) can last centuries.
To be fair: I don't think anyone has tried hitting robots and demons with a steel sword.
